Good-Bye

This poem is in memory of a friend who passed away at a very young age.

You were always so full of life
Always smiling and carefree
No matter how sad I was
You could always chase the sadness away

When you left this world
A huge part of me died
But remember this:
No one can or will ever take your place

I know that every day for the rest of my life
I will be missing you
But I know you are in heaven
Watching over and looking after all of us

God decided he needed you
So from this world you went
You left without any warning
Not even a good-bye
