CARING FOR SOMEONE

Have you ever sat up all night with someone in a hospital ?

It's morning and three o' clock
You sat in a hospital waiting room
Have to do someting so you darn socks
All around you sickness looms

One, two or three may join you
Then it's their turn to go in
There you sit like the rest and the family too
It's day number ten

Tomarrow they will go home
Someone in the family tells you what to do
You know and can use the phone
You have been here a lot, it's nothing new

They go home and someone watches you
But they are not there when you are up all night
Things go normal again for days or a few
It's not funny to sat up all night and all daylight

But you do it because you love them
And you read your bible and trust and pray
Sure enough He's there and you can depend on Him
There's nothing they then should say
