A jilted heart reborn. |
| A single rose whose wilted blossom lingers A candlestick burned to exiguity as a scorned soul Lingering over a lifeless body disdained by all Tis a weak mind to wallow in sloth As do the hogs with fat bellies do welter So do snails hide under rocks Oh, hearken my wounded heart nothing is worth of nothing My essence bashes for dearth of discernment Propose the barbarian wend Waves fall into the ocean, bring into being riptides that seduce you, roll you Drown in misery or soar like the feathered beast who color the sky with surrendered ecstacy Allow your heart to flow, frozen rivers explode, they rage They pour into the larger heated body and passionate drops taste the embellished sun.
