From long ago. I know little about poetry. Good self esteem. Can take a beating for help. |
| One Dream By Daryl Campbell I saw her there in the dream's first light, Her beauty flourishing in angelic proportions and The sun shining brilliantly over long, golden hair. Soft white skin, blushing ever so slight, A warm smile with dark ruby lips and Blue eyes, the color of the purest sea. A figure she kept, one equal to Godiva’s own, A slender shape with gentle distracting curves that Left no question to her womanhood. A woman though true, she was not fully grown, Still clinging to youthful flirtations that Allowed her to love with no fear of commitment. Our time spent together was a short, fleeting moment, There in my dream, just a soft waning figure, then Suddenly gone as I reached out to touch her. |
