Acrostic poetry

A ptitude is attitude, experience, and potential
P erception, definition, genetics, exponential
T ested, bested, reflected---things we haven't done
I ntellect, self-respect, and battles yet unwon
T houghts float relentlessly around inside our heads
U ndone moments yet to come, quickly fraying threads
D ying from the day we're born, yet able still to live
E ducation, procrastination, deliberate flowing sieve
