Silent Scream

When you keep screaming but nobody hears.

Mouth rent wide, in silent scream.
Trapped inside a vivid dream.
Why can no-one see my pain?
As I drown, in this black rain.

Bloated face shines wet with tears.
Rivers cried, throughout the years.
The mirror shows scars on skin.
Left there by the beast within.

Poisoned pictures of the mind
Truth, in my reflection find.
For I must, my sentence serve.
I shall reap what I deserve.
