A poem about the desire to return to life |
| What may be this heavy feeling that falls to the depths of this soul A lively heart can produce nothing but mournful sighs Rather than vitalizing breaths A heart that appears so, has been transformed unwillingly to stone And the blood that once ran through this body Giving it life, is now but a frozen river. This body is numb, This heart is sinking, This life is no more The person who once was, carries no existence, no sighs, no breaths. If only the sky may be convinced to bring light to the soul that thirsts for life So that it may be brought into reality once more It shall not give this however , For reality was what destroyed it And broke it like the mirror which fell to the floor A wish so full of hope for life, haunts this soul no more. |
