Waiting for my entire life
To meet a girl like you
To one day make my wife
And hear her say I do
Waiting so long I thought I'd never smile again
Until the day we first met
I didn't expect it to happen
And I didn't know how much better things would get
I finally understand why I had to wait
Why it was so long until I found you
I know now it isn't too late
And now I know what I have to do
I know now what it feels like to smile once more
And what its like to hold someone close to me
My heart was broken and my emotions so sore
And now you have made me so happy
Now I think I can soar with the angels high above
I think I knew it from the start
You have every last ounce of my truest love
And you'll forever have my heart
