Going on with life,
I've learned things.
Struggling with life,
I've grown stronger.
I'm not the same person
I was long ago.
If you knew me then,
A stranger is what you'd see now.
Why am I this way,
You may be asking.
I am this way because of you!
You were the one I trusted.
You were my reason for living.
Not any more!
Now you are nothing to me.
I do not need you now.
I have myself
And my writing;
There's no room for you anymore.
