What exactly is love

What exactly is love?
I heard of it once,
honey coated with flowers
French words and dance.

I didn't understand it
in fact no one really did,
we didn't know if we felt it
or if it was merely a trick.

I don't think we fall out of love,
so explain it to me.
How can I say 'I love you'
and then leave you.

Some one once loved me
In fact two that I know
One fogot about me
and the other is still by me

You see the first was puppy love
it couldn't stand the test of time,
the other was Jesus' love
