This is simply a short poem I wrote about a month ago.

                                          HEARTSOUNDS

                                    It is a strange syncopation
                                            such sounds
                                        The rhythm elusive,
                                                  lost
                                        in a maze of echoes
                                        between each shard
                                            sent spinning
                            delicate notes from my shattered heart
                                                hitting
                                            empty space
