Fears

the fears that run thru your mind when you're alone at night.

Another night I sleep alone.
Just hung up the telephone.
The bed is empty without you here.
My nightmares run wild,
So do my fears.
Every noise and bump keeps me awake.
Not sure how much more I can take.
Need to reach out and feel your warm skin.
Maybe closing my eyes will let me
Imagine your arms around me.
