Poem written for the love of my life. Dedicated to Charley.

Lonely and lost, I wander the road of Life
Sometimes walking behind or with someone
Only to be cast off of all but lessons learned.

Hoping against my past, keeping lost faith
I swim Love's current, my head barely above
As the weight of my despair slowly takes toll.

The moment I succumb to facing
Being alone and eternally bereft with grace
Your shining Being wafts in to claim me.

Your brilliant mind captures mine
Challenging and intriguing, compelling my intellect
Someone to share all my truths.

Your amazing heart calls to mine
Asking and offering, exchanging strengths
Someone to share all my dreams.

Your wonderful body embraces mine
Pleasuring and protecting, calling me yours
Someone to share all my joys.

Your pure soul completes mine
Augments and enhances, finally finding my match
Someone to share my Light.
