An Amazing Rush

It came over me,
Like a cool sensation…
An amazing rush…
Ramped up, blood circulation
My sins felt the Almighty’s Crush.

Moments before, I could hardly stand,
Feelings of hopelessness…quite the demand
Lost in humanity…
Focused on my scattered mess
Holding my mirror broken by vanity.

Rush, feel the rush, His amazing face
It’s our change from within, a new life begins
Rush, feel the rush, His amazing grace

It came over me,
It’s chill of joyful elation…the way it’s meant to be
An amazing rush…
The Father, Son, Spirit formation
My sins felt the Almighty’s Crush.

Here and now, hunkered on the Rock
Forward facing & no tracks behind…see no hands on the clock
Found and given grace…
What He’s written controls the grind
Look up…see the door…the light…His face.

Rush, feel the rush, His amazing face
