Wrote this a while back, honest opinions please

I live on the outside.

I see you walking down the corridor,
Laughing, Giggling with your friends,
I Live on the outside.

I watch you punch a number into your mobile,
See your smile of relief when someone answers,
Sorts out all your problems in twenty seconds flat,
I live on the outside.

I see him run up to you,
You fling your arms around him,
Living in a world of happiness,
I live on the outside.

You live in a safe,
Happy, golden bubble of friends,
Love and satisfaction,
I live on the outside.

When you cry they comfort you,
When you laugh they laugh too,
As for me?
I live on the outside.

If I cry they avoid me,
If I laugh they pretend not to hear,
If I spoke to them they would run away,
I live on the outside.

It’s funny to think that maybe,
Once, I lived on the inside too,
But if I ever did you’ve forgotten,
I live on the outside.
