i wrote tis poem about one of my x's that i am still in love with.

Into Your Arms


Hear the thunder ‘neath the clouds
Now to be the sorrows shroud,
Broken beaten washed away,
Now into a darker day.

Where I sleep and dream of you,
Knowing that there’s nothing  new,
Just us two alone at heart,
Breaking out what’s left to part.

Holding tight what’s left to be,
As I slip into a sea,
With your help lets break away,
For there’s nothing left to say.

And your loss what’s left to fear,
Let us be again my dear,
In the garden ‘neath the rose,
Where our love forever flows.

Looking deep within my eye’s,
Can you see how my heart cries,
Hold me close for I am lost,
And I see our paths have crossed.

Into the creak the water falls,
And for your love my heart calls,
And as my eye’s start to fade,
My love for you still is made.

In your arms I fall to sleep,
Wake again only to weep,
With you gone I fall apart,
And you have gone with my heart.
