MY HAPPY POEM

I want to write a happy poem,
One that makes you smile.
One that makes you giggle
and laugh for a while.

I want to see your eyes sparkle
And your expression come alive.
I want for you to dance a dance, I want for you to thrive.
I want to know your heart is singing
A glorious ballad song
For if you sing and dance and smile I’ll know I’ve not gone wrong.

Oh to write a happy poem to fill your hearts with glee
To smile at you across the way in the hopes you’ll smile  back at me.
The dancing, prancing, dizzy feelings that I hope to share
Are laid straight out from my heart and they are very bare.
