Christ's Birth

The world was forever changed
One beautiful clear night
A baby boy was born,
He was born to make us right

Both his fathers stood by and watched
As his mother concentrated so
This was a most important event
He came to defeat our foe.

The animals watched on
As Heaven came to earth
And all the Angels hovered by
Greatly anticipating his birth.

He was brought into this life
In a very humble place
His surroundings weren’t important
He came to state his case

His case was plain and simple
So all who chose could understand
He came to die for our sins
God in the form of a man.


And although he was sinless
He was put up on that cross
To take our punishment and sin
So we would not be lost

And all of us who believe in him
And all he had to say
Will live peacefully with him forever
For he is the truth, the life, and the way.
