There are times in 'Cancer World' that laughter is unexpected ~ and most welcome.

the first day was the best day
when we were all in the waiting room
together for our daily date with chernobyl
looking at each other through the sides of our eyes
no cozy familiarity yet present amongst and between us
but before too long we found amid howls of laughter
that it was a lot of fun to be in a room full of women
who so totally get bald jokes.
