LOVE AND LIFE

Life was vortex churning fast
But in you I have discovered my life at last
It feels like moving through space and time
Like the whole universe chanting in rhyme.
As if the random world is losing its chaos
And regaining the serenity there once was;
Like the pink tinted clouds of an autumn sky
Like the curious friendship of a dolphin’s cry.
Its an emotion, a feeling like no other
It’s my anchor, my life’s rudder.
It’s violent like the fire in awesome rage
And yet clears away the confused haze;
Delightful like the star spankled vault
Astonishing enough to make my universe halt!
For all it’s a reality so pure and serene
Just you and your whole world in ‘tween.
You’ll find it the moment you lose all pretence
For in this tiny word lies the whole of existence.
