A poem about the end of the life of a Christian |
| If my time on earth was coming to an end, would I take the time to talk to you, my friend? Would I care enough to take you by the hand to tell you all about God’s salvation plan? Would my fast approaching earthly demise be the catalyst to cause me to arise to speak aloud the words that you need to hear to heal every pain and take away your fear? This moment, this hour is all that I can claim. If I retreat in silence, will I be to blame that you never heard that Jesus came to give sweeter life than you thought you’d ever live? I do not know the length of my earthly days but for today I offer God all my praise. He has given me this hour, this place in time to tell of His love in this my little rhyme. God is good and His love is never ending Bring Him your heart; He will do the mending. It’s not what you give up, but what you gain. When to Jesus you come, you’ll never be the same. |
