A Lonely Road

A lonely road
so cold,so barren.
No one is here except me.
This is where I do my thinking
and my day-dreaming.
I talk to people even though
they're not there.
I wish they were here.
I am alone on this lonely road
trying to  find my way out.
But...
I am lost, alone on this lonely road.
I keep walking down this
narrow dirt road.
It is straight
and never ending.
I am there forever lost, alone on this lonely road.
I die alone, lost on this lonely road,
There is no one here for me.
This road is my life,
even though there are so
many people around me.
I am lost alone on this lonely road.
