I Know I Lost You

I know I lost you
There is nothing I can do
I will now see your face,
only pictures.

I know I lost you
I won’t stop crying
the thought of you dying
won’t leave my mind.

I know I lost you
because I can’t see that
smile that brightened my day,
that kept my frown away.

I know I lost you
I will love you,
I will miss you,
my Guardian Angel up above.
