Wishing to hold you in my arms,
Wishing that you wouldn’t be gone,
Wishing that we’d spend time together,
And I close my eyes to picture you.

I wonder every day,
About the fun we could be having,
About every word you say,
About the way we work together,
And I smile at the thought of us.

I dream of you every night,
Of the beauty blessed upon you,
Of all the things you have done right,
And I hope that you’ll stay true.
