In the Glow

for contest, I meant to use the word listen, I'm asking the reader to hear

Sitting in the faint glow of a candle
She looked misplaced
Forgotten in the world
Listen to the pages crinkle
Flipping through the book
She searches for meaning
Something shining brightly like a medal
She sees only remnants of a dynamic life
They lie scattered
Like shells along the shore
