Masks off

Everybody wears a mask, mine looks serene on the outside...

I wear the mask

But why? You ask

To get me through the day



I write the rhyme

And pass the time

In this, my gentle way



The words unspoken

The spell unbroken

And everyone is gay



Someday I might

Just start the fight

Then what would you say?



I wreck the mask

But why? You ask

Because it makes my day
