A poem about what a lovely day is to me.

A lovely day

    is when I wake up with a smile on my face

    fresh from yesterday's worries

    free from midnight's fears



A lovely day

    is when I find the courage to face the day

    with a clear mind to follow my dreams

    and a kind heart to forgive mistakes



A lovely day

    is when I see the future in children's eyes

    feel the strength of their innocent minds

    and being healed by their joyful laughs
