I WANT OFF

Spiraling out of control

When darkness casts it's ghostly shadows
down upon the prairie grass
I'm always searching, searching in vane
throughout the hidden canyon walls

We play this crazy game of hide 'n seek
"Tag you're It", and then you're gone!
I'm screaming all the while,
"Baby stop running me in circles."

Mystified by the black magic that you weave
Wicked spells of heartbreak and deceit
Telling me you love the way I make you feel;
Then explain; "Why do the doors keep slamming?"

Slamming behind me as I walk through
another doorway of my broken heart
Stained in crimson-blood shards of glass
Gashed across each chamber; one by one

Eyes glow red like a lustful animal in heat
Stalking it's prey with the swiftness of mind
Hot upon it's trail; salivating at the mouth
Anticipating the instinctual kill of mortal flesh

Lightening strikes across the skies
Splitting a thousand bolts inside my head
Spiraling out of control on this celestial plain
"Stop the world from spinning! I want off!"
