What winter brings to the world.
I open the door and my nose has been stung

Then I was punched in my chest

All I could do was suffer the pain

And embrace the awakening cold

A mile is nothing when walking in the sun

That is why we love it so much

But when your feet are becoming numb

it is hard to move too fast

I had layers and layers of clothes on my back

sheltered i would be sweating

but none cold stop the penetrating cold

which tightened its grip around my throat

now snow had started falling from the heavens

piling on top of the other

it was lifted up to an inch and showed no sign of stopping

slowing my journey even more

snow was a killer with a mask

beautiful from inside your house

luring you in with its bait

it sets up its trap

you suddenly feel frozen and cannot move

do i have to say the rest

my journey would be ending shortly

i had come far

i could almost taste the warmth

and hot chocolate burning my tongue

there it was

my house by the lake

there was a fire inside

welcoming me to the estate

I ran over the lake

frozen and covered with snow

i opened the door

and sat by the fire all day long
