It's the wrong way to Heaven

A man's walk to Heaven.

This road I have taken,
have me losing my mind.
Senses blurred by the choices,
I have been given.
Shrouded in the mist,
that will forever,
be intend on losing the realism of my ways.

I asked the young stranger,
if I,
just a simpleton wondering these deserted paths,
was wondering up the right route.

He nodded in the way I was moved by,
a sudden chill filled my body,
like the zest I contained for so long.

After one more night,
I realised,
suddenly,
I have all these years,
been traking the wrong way to Heaven.
