| There was a time when a creature lived Magnificent beyond the eyes of mankind Pure white innocence and wild beauty A freer spirit you could not find In the lands of which he roamed Bringing lost angels home But in time, as all men do The people began to fear His fierce beauty and loving nature too Perhaps his virtue too much to behold In the eyes of the sinners voices told Their holy lies which destroyed him So in time their faith turned sour And their hatred was left to devour He so left this corrupted plane To the one from which he came Leaving this world forlorn The hunting of the unicorn |
