Phantom Lovers

a poem. Inspiration for this just came to me.

I lay alone
I Feel your ghost is still around me
In the darkness I realize I never did have you
I was always alone
I loved you
You were nothing but a ghost
A phantom
You felt so real
This pain of knowing you will never come back
Feels so real
But how?
You were nothing but a ghost.
And I loved you.
And now I lay here
My soul remains shattered
As I whisper into the wind
I Loved You
