Let's run and play
go outside is what they say
see the doggie
I want i want to rub him
can we take him home and call him puppy?
I want to go to the store
to see if they have a new toy, I have to explore
let me be little, while i am
have time to run and jump and be silly
my tiny hands have never before
touched the butterfly,he always gets away before I get there
why you ask, he has so much to see I say
like you from day to day
little today you will be
no guarantee for tomorrow , you grow so fast
so run and jump and play my little one
go outside and have some fun
catch the butterfly if you can,blow the dandelion,watch it go
tomorrow you will be a little older and you may not want, one day
to run and jump and play
before my eyes this little wonder is so full of spunk
one day you will be grown and i will miss our little outdoor adventure.
