What need drives us – the love of beauty or possession. (Form: Rondel) |
| ** Image ID #1516647 Unavailable ** We're not content to just admire beauty in it's natural state. We are driven to desecrate. Possession is our sole desire. A blossom on its verdant spire has magic that we can't create. We're not content to just admire beauty in its natural state. Jealously, we must acquire that which holds a desired trait. Callously, we don't hesitate to destroy that which we aspire. We're not content to just admire. Notes Form: Rondel A rondel consists of two quatrains followed by a quintet (13 lines total). The meter is open, but typically has eight syllables. The first two lines of the first stanza are refrains, repeating as the last two lines of the second stanza; only the first line is repeated at the end of the final stanza.
