When all about is flames, and smoke and strife has overshadowed yer world and most every heart is filled with fear then rises the most uncommon bloke he raises high the flag, unfurled and urges on his men, onto victory clear and risen the most uncommon man and wins the praise of folk superior and is uninclined to understand the fuss for he does his job, and denies the flame a fan for others see him plain, not the interior his is the life, and position of trust his eyes with hungry passion gleams for people call him hero his humanity denied he, his best employs, it seems considers himself a zero his mistakes defied |
