I wish that I could run away
Leave my troubles far behind.
There's nothing left for me here
Everything I had has died.

I wish that I could change the past
And forget you ever lived,
Because there's no way I'll ever
Forget what you did.

I wish that you could feel
Exactly how much it hurts
To be beaten and left
Face down in the dirt.

I wish that I didn't have to dream
Reliving my pain.
I wake up every morning
Screaming for help in vain.

I wish that you could see
The very last tears I'll cry,
Because crying is not enough enymore.
I guess you'll just have to die.
