If Only

Sometimes looking at the smaller picture in life is better then looking at the bigger one

If only we can understand
That what we have today
We won’t have it tomorrow

If only we can savor the seen
And forget the unseen

If only we can cherish the time we have
And erase the memory of the time which we have lost

If only we could understand the meaning of present
And forget about our sorrows of the future

If only we can make the most out of this
Then we won’t feel regret, loss and misery

But oh how I wish this if only wouldn’t be only in my thoughts
