Lunar Beauty

If the moon is imperfect, why is it beautiful?

Celestial body, brilliant and bold
Maintains its splendor, even if old
Thousands of blemishes, but admired still
Brings light to dark corners, abolishing chill

So why do we say that beauty is exact?
If the moon is appealing, then this is no fact
Assured imperfection should not upset the mind
So look to the moon for the hope of mankind
