A poem of love on the seaside, then love taken by the sea. |
From the window I look out at the sea, and think, oh what you took from me a love that was young and handsome determined to sail this sea leaving me alone with nothing but seaside memories. Beautiful memories of strolling and making passionate love on the sand fragrances of this vastness making us heady the love was amazing and grand. Now they are just memories of what will happen no more because of this raging sea there is no more love on the shore. At night I dream of him he comes to me from out of the sea once again we are on the shore. He is saying softly, goodbye to me I love you but I cannot stay, he whispers in my ear I now belong to the sea. Always know you are my last; I love you oh so dear. |
