About sad things that happen.

Promises to destroy
Promises to protect
I swear I won't remember.
...but...
I just can't forget...

For her I said I'd stay
But she left before I could
I said I'd always love him
But now I don't know if I should.

I'm pursued by the endings
And haunted by the dreams
Now I know that everything
May not be what it seems.

I promised, hoped, and lied.
I swore on my own life.
But the end may come  before I can
forget my own strife.

Fear of so much, it brought me to my knees
Insanity spread through my veins like disease.
