Ocean's Roar

A passage of time poem in which a boy turns into a man loving the Ocean.

A little boy stood on the beach
Watching the Ocean's roar
The sandy beach as colorful as a peach
Catching the crabs floor
That was before
A young man stood on the beach
Capturing the Ocean's beauty
The fish close enough to reach
Knowing that was his duty
That was before
An older man stood on the beach
Watching the Ocean's sun set beneath
The shore was dry and bitter
His duty was no more
