I still miss those days we lost,

from summer to a cold december frost.

It's hard to think about the past,

the time when I saw you last.

You smiled with endless grace,

but my smile wouldn't reach my face.

Knowing I couldn't  stay with you,

left with me with feelings of sorrow so true.

But you are my happiness, my winning prize

I see your love when I look into your eyes.

You are my pride and joy

I give you love that they can't destroy.

One day I will hold you again

but i will lay in my wretching pain and wait until then.....
