Life's an Ocean

Short little poem about the ocean we call life.

Bumps, waves, rapids
Ouch! Falling, sometimes hard.
Rocks, slipping, drowning
Lifeboat on the horizon
Coming to rescue

Smooth sailing ahead!
Pleasant swells
Sweet, tangy, salt
Sparkling waters and sun
Nothing in the way

Swimming
Sometimes fast
Sometimes slow
The desire is always the same;
To experience life
