Tryst with God

Describes my meeting with the God.

The sign looked a bit odd,
"This pathway leads to God",

Seemed like a lie,
But, I decided to give it a try,

I passed through several gates,
Waded through many narrow straits,

Saw the tall trees,
Heard the roaring seas,
Felt the crisp breeze,

Finally, I came where,
Day and night seemed to blend,
Stars seemed to descend,
I knew, this was the end,

I was going to see Him for certain,
Although for now,
He was behind a curtain,

As the curtain was raised,
My mouth opened wide,
Lo and behold,
It was me on the other side!!
