I went to bed today. And waited for something.

I went to bed today.
I didn't want to, but I did.
I went to bed and waited.
Waited.
Waited.
Waited.
Then I got up again.

I went to bed tonight.
With someone else.
Just like last night.
And the night before.
They still aren't you.
But I tried anyway.
Then I got up again.

I went to bed again.
Just like every night.
Just like every day.
And waited for something.
I don't know what I'm waiting for.
But I wait anyhow.
Then I get up again.
