No Restrictions | The moon casts shadows through the open window. It helps me take my mind off the pain I'm about to receive. He has finished her and I know that soon he’ll be coming for me. I try and think of a way to escape, but nothing could be done because his footsteps grew closer and louder. I flinch as the door creaks open and the lights from the hall flood the dark empty room. I try to pretend I’m asleep, hoping he’ll just leave and spare me one more day. He makes no noise, but I know he’s still standing over me trying to decipher his next move. He waits a moment before startling me with a firm strike. Now all I can do is wait because he had already made up his mind and I knew what was going to happen next… |
