Chapter One



The emptiness was terrifying. The complete nothingness of it. I layed in my room, the darkness caving in on me. I snuggled deep into the blankets, hiding my face. This happened every night. I was terrified of being alone in a dark room. Even if it was my own, the one that was supposed to be safe. How was I supposed to make it stop?
