" And Then I Woke Up"

This is something i wrote many years ago- positive poetry

“AND THEN I WOKE UP”

Do you often let your mind wander free?…
Any wish or thought lost in fantasy?……
And- subconsciously stop yourself abrupt,
Ending it with “And then I woke up”?
The unexplained times when your in between,
Conscious and subconscious, reality and true
Dreams- go with it for once no matter how far
out it seems, don’t become a wannabe.
Keep on going and you will see -
the real you that will be set free, you will say
“I found me”.

Don’t let you stop yourself abrupt-
Don’t go through life ending everything with
“and then I woke up”!
