Gazing from atop
The stair case
Over looking the ground
Within the cracks of tile
The germs of life are found
Fighting for survival against
Their very own kind
To kill and suffer, and reproduce
All within their time
The hunter becomes the hunted
As the larger ones approach
But even the giant of giants
May be devoured by the roach
They all possess same weapons
And all do fear their foe
For one wrong decision From one wrong leader
And all their lives could go
Bickering over borders
They all claim to be right
They all at once push buttons
—Boom--
Now never again shall fight
