Friends with feelings

I'm confused when I'm around you.
Friends; I know we are.
But I've looked at you a certain way now,
for far too long.

I think it's time to go now,
and forget that you exist.
The times we spend together,
I will surely miss.

I cant close my eyes to the truth;
even though I've tried.
I know i said i'd be okay,
I think I may have lied.

Just know that i have my own life too,
and now it must move on.
There's certain things i need too.
And it's not to be strung along.
